- I'm TERRIBLY sorry - I didn't realize it was your seat.
- The small child ran across the road to get the ball. LUCKILY there were no cars coming.
- You must phone the office AT ONCE. It's urgent.
- I love reading in bed, ESPECIALLY on Sunday mornings.
- Maria's SLIGHTLY taller than me - about a centimetre.

- If you work HARD I think you can pass the exam first time.
- I couldn't take another step! I was ABSOLUTELY exhausted.
- Don't try to learn everything at once. You have to do it GRADUALLY.

- The vet picked up the injured dog CAREFULLY and put it on the table.

- Cars used to be a luxury but NOWADAYS most families have one.

- I don't drink MUCH. Just a glass of wine at weekends.

- My husband's been acting strangely LATELY.
- He'd grown a beard and was much fatter so I HARDLY recognized him when he walked in.

- After looking for the car keys all morning I EVENTUALLY found them under the sofa.

- In the brochure the hotel looked wonderful but when we got there it was ABSOLUTELY awful.

- Oh no! I've left my wallet at home, and my keys AS WELL.

- She speaks several languages FLUENTLY.
- The view from the top of the mountain was fantastic. But UNFORTUNATELY I'd forgotten to bring my camera.
- Don't take things so SERIOUSLY. Try to relax more!
- We got really lost but EVENTUALLY we managed to find their house.
- He looks unfriendly but ACTUALLY he's very nice.
- Writing - Make your language more vivid by using more adjectives and adverbs...
